Unblock Capacity-Constrained Work
Many researchers in the field have ideas they can't pursue because their current organization or funding only covers a narrow slice of what they're capable of. We fund the rest.
Accelerate with Engineering Teams
We embed dedicated engineering teams with funded researchers, providing compute, infrastructure, and an agile research methodology built from years of shipping complex systems. Ideas move from concept to published results fast.
Where We Focus
Technical alignment is our core. We accelerate research into alignment properties that persist and strengthen as AI systems become more capable. Work that makes trustworthiness structural, so it can't be optimized away. Our researchers collaborate with labs like Anthropic and universities like Princeton, and we deliberately fund approaches working ahead of consensus, because that's historically where breakthroughs come from.
We also build alignment research capacity beyond the lab. We bring alignment expertise to defense agencies and senior government leaders, building the bench of trusted technical talent that national AI strategy requires. The people shaping AI policy should deeply understand the alignment problem. We help make sure they do.
